Community Support Worker

Duties •Domestic duties i.e. cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping •Social activities e.g. taking clients out to socialise, attending appointments etc •Personal care: assistance with washing, dressing, toileting, grooming •Medication administration Hours Permanent, Part-time/Full-time Working Pattern We offer flexible working with hours between 7am-10pm Monday -Sunday You must be available to commit to working alternate weekends. This will be in line with the needs of both client and provider. We strive for a work life balance so doing our fair share is crucial Salary £14 per hour ( mileage expenses and travel time paid) Enhanced pay will be offered for weekend shifts. Time and half for Bank holidays Double time for Christmas and New year. Skills/ requirements •NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social care •2 Years minimum caring experience or experience in supporting vulnerable adults •Experience in dementia care preferred •A real passion for providing a high standard of support that enables our clients to live as independently as they can and have the quality of life they deserve and need •Must be aged 21+ •Good communication skills •Energetic, resourceful, patient, caring and willing to learn •Skill of keeping calm in stressful situations •Driving licence with access to own vehicle •Business car insurance •Self-motivated •Excellent time keeping All essential training will be provided at induction.
